I learned to become a poet
For words are flowing freely.
I learned to become a writer,
For there are lots of stories to tell.
I gazed upon the stars shining
Looked at the flowers blooming.
I listened to the birds singing
Pondered at the plants growing.
In the silence of your heart,
I learned to quite my mind
And speak with my heart.
Trust faithfully,
Hope patiently.
Realizing day by day,
you’re making me a better person.
In the silence of your heart,
My heart shouts:
“I love you more.”
